SHEPPARTON SHOW - A PARADE OF MAJOR WINNERS
A quality line up of Illawarra cows was paraded at the 2012 Shepparton Show before Judge Paul Ringland of Verona in southern NSW.
From a quick glance through the entry catalogue by ringside viewers, it became apparent that every single female entry in the senior category had been awarded a major ribbon throughout the various stages of their show career.
For his senior champion cow judge Paul Ringland selected Llandovery Empires Freda, awarding the Hayes family their second successive champion cow at Shepparton Show. Reserve Senior Champion was awarded to Raymond & Sarah Parker’s entry Glencliffe Princess 404. Both entries have won broad ribbons at Shepparton Show in previous years.
A smaller than usual number of entries was paraded before Paul Ringland in the intermediate category with the champion being awarded to the Tuhan Family’s Riversleigh KitKat Flower and reserve to the Tidcombe family’s Wallamlands Blossom 4.
For his junior champion a Venvale Prudino daughter – Wallumlands Blossom 5 from the Tidcombe stable of entries came up trumps over the classy Venvale Prince daughter – Riversleigh Alston Madeline exhibited by the Tuhan family. When paraded in the all breeds category later in the day Riversleigh Alston Madeline was named Reserve Junior All Breeds Champion.
